Jon had been working on a double cut for a while with Daniel, Wishbone Ash's touring sound engineer. Daniel knew that the single cut would translate beautifully into a double cut. Patrick had originally commissioned a J1 single cut but was keen to take up Jon's offer of having his very first double cut body design. Access to the top frets is so easy and with Patrick's choice of woods and pickups, make this guitar a very versatile rock guitar. "Jon it's absolutely gorgeous and looks exactly as I wanted !
