J25 SEMI-HOLLOW
With a 14.25" width, the J25 is slightly smaller than our 15" wide J35 model and is extremely well balanced on the strap. The guitar employs a traditional semi-hollow construction of a laminated body with a mahogany centre block and spruce fillets between the two. The semi-hollow body creates a resonant, responsive tone, while the centre block maximises sustain and keeps feedback to a minimum. The top is made from maple laminates, the back and sides made from mahogany laminates all finished in a stunning sunburst. The neck is carved from quarter sawn mahogany, creating a very stable neck with a great feel. Dark rosewood is chosen for the fingerboard for its warm tone.
All hardware is high quality and you can choose from either a vintage-style Kluson tuneomatic bridge with a lightweight stop bar or an ABM fully adjustable wraparound bridge. Gotoh vintage tuners guarantee fine tuning and smooth operation. High quality CTS pots, Switchcraft pickup selector switch and a 50’s wiring scheme is used to minimise treble loss when rolling back the volume.
Hand wound Bare Knuckle unpotted humbuckers are fitted as standard with 'Mule' humbuckers chosen for their outstanding clarity, extended dynamic range and unmistakable vintage character.
