Travel V

We were very excited to work on a project for Andy Powell of Wishbone Ash.


The brief, to design a classic V style guitar that can break down and fit into a case small enough to be taken into the plane cabin when touring. Neat idea.

The guitar’s appearance is inspired by Andy’s beloved ’67 cherry red V and features Kloppmann humbuckers with a single coil in the middle position for sharper rhythm and Fender style leads / sounds.

I just wanted to let you know that the Travel V made its maiden flight to Turkey and performed excellently.
